Dr Ramathuba has strongly condemned the heinous act. She emphasised the urgent need to enhance student safety.
“We urge law enforcement agencies to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that this perpetrator is apprehended and faces the full might of the law,” said Premier Dr Ramathuba.
“Our students deserve to feel safe in their learning environments. As a province, we must work collectively to create a society where no one lives in fear,” said Premier Dr Ramathuba.
Meanwhile, reports earlier in the week suggested that the suspect may have been killed by community members. The information was reportedly revealed by Provincial Commissioner Thembi Hadebe during the release of crime statistics in Polokwane on Monday.
