Unplanned Power interruptions in Seshego
There are unplanned power interruptions affecting parts of Legae la Batho, outside Seshego, specifically households along Andrea Street and surrounding areas.
In Seshego Zones 5 and 8, a power outage was caused by the theft of more than 20 household cables.
Due to the extensive work required to excavate and replace the stolen cables, repairs will continue until Monday morning. The estimated time for full restoration is 12h00 on Monday.

The Polokwane Municipality, Capricorn says they are aware of unplanned power interruptions. “The municipality’s technical team is investigating the cause and working towards restoring power. However, at this stage, there is no estimated time for restoration.”

“These outages do not include single-consumer faults, which are being addressed separately. The municipality apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates the community’s patience while the municipal teams work to resolve these issues. Meanwhile, the Municipality says they understand the frustration caused by water shortages. The municipality says they have taken decisive action.
