Inaugural Shynebright Entertainment U/19 Tournament launched
Shynebright Entertainment officially launched the U/19 football Development Tournament at their premises in Polokwane on Friday.
The tournament is a grassroots sports initiative aimed at nurturing young talent and fostering community engagement through competitive sports in Mafefe Village and its surroundings. It has attracted 16 teams from across the Mafefe Village.

The launch and draw ceremony marked the official build-up to the kick-off of the tournament, with team representatives, dignitaries, and stakeholders in attendance.
“We are thrilled to launch this initiative. It aligns with our mission to provide aspiring footballers with a platform to showcase their skills, gain exposure, and develop their potential,” said Rabbi Mashabela, the Founder and CEO of Shynebright Entertainment.
“My passion and belief lies in young footballers getting a chance to showcase their talents and go as far as being scouted and exposed into the professional scene.”
U/19 SHYNEBRIGHT ENTERTAINMENT DEVELOPMENT TOURNAMENT LAUNCHED
The tournament is set to take place in April 2025. The first match kick-starting on the 18th April and the final match is scheduled for 27 April 2025.
SAFA Lepelle-Nkumpi Secretary, Tukisho Manailana expressed his gratitude for the development tournament. He stated how the Mafefe Cluster is one of the best-performing clusters in the province.
“I’m one of the happiest secretaries in Limpopo. Especially in our region because this is the first development tournament that will be hosted under the Lepelle-Nkumpi Football Association. In terms of development, Mafefe is one of the best performing in the Capricorn Region. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our kids,” he said.
