TWO NEWLY BUILT SCHOOLS FOR LIMPOPO HANDED OVER BY MEC MAVHUNGU LERULE-RAMAKHANYA
MEC Lerule-Ramakhanya urged learners to maintain cleanliness and focus on their studies. She also encouraged parents to take an active interest in their children’s education and appreciate the government’s efforts to improve rural education infrastructure.
“Today we are starting to realise the goals that we have set ourselves. Things have changed in the 7th administration and we have said in one week. At least two schools should be opened. So we start to communicate that education is a societal matter and again we are saying infrastructure is just at your doorstep.
“So there is no way that parents can not support learners to go to school. For me today has shown that indeed infrastructure can change the lives of a learner. In a better environment, better sanitation it does improve the lives of our own communities.”
