Pilot killed in Polokwane helicopter crash

A Pilot was killed when a 2004 Bell 206L-4 Long Ranger helicopter crashed in the Polokwane Game Reserve on Wednesday morning. The pilot was the only person on board.

The aircraft was reportedly en route from Zimbabwe on a routine flight when the accident occurred.

South African Police Service has reportedly gone to the scene to gather evidence for an investigation. South African Civil Aviation Authority has also been notified.
