ANCYL Limpopo demands Rachoene be co-opted into PEC

The newly elected Provincial Secretary of the league, Phineas “Boko” Sebola, has used the congress to call on the ANC in the province to co-opt former provincial Chairperson Tonny Rachoene into the Provincial Executive Committee of the mother body to fill the space left by Soviet Lekganyane, who is now an NEC member.
ANC YOUTH LEAGUE LIMPOPO FIRES FIRST SHOT AS THEY DEMAND TONNY RACHOENE TO BE CO-OPTED INTO HIGH-STRUCTURE
When reading the resolutions of the congress on Sunday night, Sebola says they want the issue of Rachoene to be on the agenda of the next PEC meeting
“Now that Tonny [Rachoene] is leaving the youth league we are demanding that he be co-opted to the PEC of the ANC in the Province,” said Sebola.
“If his name is not on the agenda, they must not include us in their meeting,” he said to the applause of delegates.
Rachoene is the current MEC for Limpopo Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure. This is after the league demanded that he be appointed to the Provincial government Exco. However, it remains to be seen if the league’s latest demands will find positive expression in the PEC.
