Limpopo learners involved in terrible bus accident
17 learners were rushed to the hospital for Medical attention following a bus accident at Mafefe in Capricorn South Education District, Limpopo on Monday. The bus was transporting learners from Kgalema Secondary School back home.
Five educators from Selwane Primary School in Lulekani were also involved in a motor vehicle accident on Monday. They are currently receiving medical attention at a Private Clinic in Tzaneen.

The MEC for Limpopo Department of Education, Ms Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya says she is deeply shocked to learn of the incidents. She also wished speedy recovery to the affected educators and learners.

“I want to thank the emergency services and medical personnel for their prompt response and care. Our wellness team will continue to monitor the situation in the two affected schools and provide updates as necessary,” MEC Lerule-Ramakhanya said.
