Limpopo Traffic officer laid to rest
Senior Provincial Inspector Mbulaheni Patrick Netshidzivhani, who was brutally killed by criminals in the Khunguni Mountain, Mutale in Limpopo was laid to rest over the weekend. Netshidzivhani worked as a traffic officer at the Mutale Traffic Centre, Vhembe.
He was hijacked and killed by armed robbers and his body was found in the Khunguni Mountains.
Netshidzivhani reportedly parked his car near the Mutale Clinic where he used to stop every weekend to exercise on the road leading to Khunguni Village. However, family members also became concerned when they did not hear from him that day.

A task team, including law-enforcement officers, was established to search the Khunguni mountain area. His car was found parked at Tshiulungoma Village. It was marked for sale with a price tag of R10, 000. Suspects were arrested and they led the police to Khunguni Mountain, where they had dumped the body.

Hundreds from all walks of life attended the service. They also paid tribute to Netshidzivhani’s dedication to his work.
“A funeral service with paramilitary honours was held for Senior Provincial Inspector Mr. Netshidzivhani Mbulaheni Patrick, who was brutally killed by criminals in the Mutale policing area. The service, attended by hundreds from all walks of life, paid tribute to Mr. Netshidzivhani’s dedication to his work at the Mutale Traffic Station in Thulamela Municipality, Vhembe District, Limpopo,” said the Limpopo department of Transport in a short statement.
