The line-up for 19th Marula Festival edition revealed
Limpopo Premier, Dr Phophi Ramathuba officially launched and unveiled the line-up for the 2025 Marula festival at Masingita Mall, Giyani on Thursday.
The Music Festival is set to take place on Saturday, 1 March at Impala Park Stadium in Phalaborwa. The total budget for the annual event is around R 9 million.

The official launch was also attended by, amongst others Mopani District Municipality Executive Mayor Pule Shayi, Greater Giyani Municipality Mayor Thandi Zitha, Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality Mayor Merriam Malatji and Limpopo Tourism Agency Board Chairperson Andrew Dipela.
Premier Dr Ramathuba encouraged those who would be attending to make use of a grace period where tickets will be sold for only R150.
“As we launch this year’s festival, we are thrilled to introduce an early bird ticketing initiative,” revealed Premier Dr Ramathuba.
“Tickets will be available at just R150 until Sunday, 26 January 2025. This initiative aims to encourage advance purchases and build anticipation for the main event at Impala Park Stadium on 01 March 2025.

“The festival will feature a variety of activities across Limpopo’s districts, showcasing the province’s tourism offerings and promoting the Vukanyi, Mukumbi Industry. From traditional dance and music to culinary experiences and local crafts, the Marula Festival offers something for everyone.”

“This location and setting are reasons for the Limpopo Marula Festival to also become a major attraction for locals, domestic, as well as international tourists and revellers.”
