Kaizer Chiefs secure positive result against Sekhukhune
Betway Premiership side Kaizer Chiefs secured a positive result with a 1-0 win against Sekhukhune United at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.
The win came after a stunning goal by Mfundo Vilakazi with four minutes remaining to play.
Assistant coach, Khalid Be Youssef was manning the technical area in the absence of suspended head coach, Nasreddine Nabi.

The win takes Chiefs to fifth position on the league log after 14 matches played. They are nine points behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

This was Chiefs’ fourth league win over Sekhukhune in the seventh league clash between the sides. Amakhosi have won three of their four home league games against Sekhukhune United, including on the last two occasions.
Mfundo Vilakazi scored what was Chiefs’ seventh league goal against Sekhukhune United, and he is the seventh different player to score for Chiefs in a league game against Sekhukhune. The victory for Chiefs saw them end Sekhukhune United’s five-game unbeaten run in the league. It was also Sekhukhune’s first league loss of 2025.
