Mbilwi student walks away with Limpopo top learner award
Todani Nzumbululo, from Mbilwi Secondary School in Vhembe was awarded the top learner in Limpopo following the 2024 Matric results announcement.
MEC for Education in Limpopo, Ms Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya will present results at the Ranch Hotel, outside Polokwane on Tuesday.
Lerule-Ramakhanya was joined by Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba, The Right Reverend, Bishop Barnabas Lekganyane [ZCC] and other dignitaries.

The class of 2024 in the province achieved an 85.1% pass rate, which took Limpopo to position 6. Limpopo is now aiming for a top 5 spot in the list of performing provinces.
“We will continue to prioritise quality, particularly in bachelor pass rates, as we aim to position Limpopo among the top five provinces by 2025,” said Premier Ramathuba.
“While we celebrate these achievements, we must also recognise that there is still work to be done, particularly in the Sekhukhune District. We commend their improvements, but we must strive for even greater results. I call on our traditional leaders in Sekhukhune to collaborate with us in fostering a culture of education and adapting our traditions to support our youth.”
