The development marks the end of a stint that stretches almost four years. A recent run of poor form, leaving the team 12th in the league table, placed Tinkler’s position under increasing pressure. City have three wins, two draws, and five losses in 10 matches.
This comes just days before The Citizens face Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in Cape Town.
