Limpopo club Magesi appoint a new coach
Carling Knockout Champions Magesi FC have appointed Owen Da Gama as their new head coach to replace Clinton Larsen. Da Gama concluded his deal with Magesi on Monday, 30 December 2024.

This is after Larsen announced his resignation live on TV a week ago after “Dikwena Tsa Meetse” were humiliated by Carling All-Stars with a 3-0 scoreline in the Carling Black Label Cup held at Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Saturday, 21 December 2024.
OWEN DA GAMA HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS THE NEW COACH AT MAGESI FC
Under coach Larsen, Magesi has only won one game, drawn three, and lost five since its promotion to the Betway Premiership from the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Before their game against Orlando Pirates over the weekend, the club announced Papi Zothwane as the head coach on an interim basis. Jacky Ledwaba stepped in as his assistant.
