Clinton Larsen resigns as Magesi FC coach
Magesi FC coach Clinton Larsen dropped a bombshell after he resigned live on television on Saturday. Larsen led the Limpopo side to a Carling Knockout title recently.
He also helped promote the club to the Betway Premiership at the end of last season. The former Orlando Pirates player surprised many when he mentioned his exit after a match against a Carling All-Stars team in Orlando.

“It was my last game as the Magesi coach today,” Larsen told SuperSport TV. “I’m bidding farewell to the club after two years of promoting the team or helping promote the team with my technical team, as well as winning a trophy.”
“Two moments I’m very proud of, and I want to wish the club everything of the best moving forward. The chairman for giving me the opportunity to lead this project for two years. To the management, to my technical team, and especially to my players.

“I know a lot of them are going to miss me. Over two years, you have forged strong bonds with certain individuals and I want to wish them everything of the best moving forward. They deserve it,” he added.
“It’s an opportunity for the club to bring in fresh leadership, fresh voice, fresh energy, and fresh footballing ideas, and hopefully, that will be enough to take them to greater heights in the league.”
