Condolences pour in for comedian Kagiso Pope Ramoshai
The entertainment fraternity in Limpopo continues to send their messages of condolences to the late Kagiso Pope Ramoshai who died in an accident on Sunday.
Ramoshai died in an accident which involved eight other cars between Madiba Park and Legae la Batho outside Polokwane, Limpopo.

The 28-year-old’s death was confirmed in a statement released by his brother Tshepo Ramoshai on Facebook.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kagiso “Pope” Ramoshai. In this time of grief, we appeal for your compassion, space and time to congregate as a family,” announced Tshepo.

Ramoshai was also a former presenter at the University of Limpopo community station Radio Turf. The Limpopo Artists Movement (LAM) have also sent their words of condolences to his family.
“It has learnt with shock and dismay of the passing of one of the province’s rising stars Psalmist Kagiso Ramoshai who was popularly known as The Pope, especially on social media”.

“Kagiso carved an inspiring name for himself starting from the humble beginnings of music recording, and radio broadcasting until he rose to prominence through the display of his many talents,” said LAM’s leader Mphoza Mashabela.
LAM has described Ramoshai as an inspirational figure who unearthed talent. “The pope showed especially talented people from the humble villages of Limpopo that only the sky’s the limit and that one should use what they have to advance themselves and their passions.
“Death has robbed the Limpopo entertainment sector in a huge way. We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and fans. May his youthful soul rest in eternal peace,” they said.
The family of the late comedian are yet to divulge the memorial or funeral details.
