Condolences pour in for Sapa Yopa founder Johz Mamabolo
Friends and fellow Bikers continue to send condolences for Sapa Yopa founding member Johz ‘Captain Die Hard’ Mamabolo who passed away on Saturday.
Details surrounding Mamabolo’s death are still sketchy at the moment. But the Limpopo Chronicle has learnt that the former Sapa Yopa president has not been well for some time. Mamabolo was once part of the Limpopo-based Radical Economic Transformation Forum.

The motorcycle Club took to their Facebook page on Sunday to officially announce the death of the 52-year-old.
“It’s a very sad day for us as members of SAPA YOPA. It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing on of our founder, our former President, our mentor and a brother, President Johz Mamabolo known as Captain Die Hard,” they announced.
“The club is in a dark cloud and we will put the family in our prayers in difficult times like this.
It’s not an easy path for the club to lose an icon like him. More details will follow and let’s have a moment of silence.”

Other motorcycle Clubs and friends also joined in to send their condolences. “We send our deepest condolences to the club, family, and Bikerville at large,” wrote Kasi Biking.
“The passing of the former president brings great sorrow within our team because he was the first president to welcome us with warm hands when we started Ekasi biking media. May his soul ride on,” they said.
“A legend has fallen. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Pres Johz Mamabolo,” Uni Riders MccNational also wrote.
“It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of former President of Sapa Yopa Mr. Nakedi Johz Mamabolo on the 9th of March 2024,” said Batsumi MCs.
His friend and former president of Sapa Yopa Sarel Nong also sent an emotional message to the late Mamabolo.
“To My Brother Capt Johz. May your soul find solace and tranquility in the embrace of eternity. You brought light into our lives and your love was a gift that enriched our lives.”
