Three people killed in a mini bus crash

Three people were killed and four others were seriously injured in a crash involving a Mercedes Benz and a mini bus. The crash took place on the N1 South, Limpopo on Tuesday.

It is alleged that the mini bus had a tyre burst. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.

Three people including the driver were killed instantly while four were reported to be in a critical state.

Limpopo Transport and Community Safety MEC is urging Public Transport Operators to check the condition of their vehicles before every trip.

The MEC says this will go a long way in ensuring that we save lives. Also assist in reducing the number of road carnage this festive season.
